Cantilever racking with roof
If you want to store timber outdoors, as shown in the picture, it is particularly valuable to provide the cantilever racking with a roof. With a roof in place, you are able to protect the stored material from the weather conditions, such as rain, snow, sun and wind. Quite simply, the roof helps to extend the lifetime of the timber and preserve its quality.
The roof is dimensioned according to the specified snow zone and is available with drainage. In the standard version, the roof has an incline of 5°.
The roof’s structure consists of roof brackets, wooden joists or Z-purlin profiles, roofing panels and ridge fittings.
When did you last inspect your warehouse?
According to Swedish law, companies are responsible for ensuring that their employees are working in a safe environment and using safe equipment. The warehouse environment is no exception. According to the European standard SS-EN 15635, an inspection has to be performed annually by a technically skilled individual. Did you know that we perform such inspections here at BLS? Our inspectors are certified by RISE. We also provide training for companies regarding safety in relation to warehouses and racking.

Yes, the cantilever racking can be placed outdoors if it has been adapted for outdoor environments.
Can BLS offer a level for the cantilever racking’s arms?

What surface should my cantilever racking be placed on?
