Flexible, efficient, and less arduous
The Nordic region's largest second-hand e-commerce, Sellpy, has moved into its new premises in Rosersberg during the summer, where BLS has delivered warehouse fittings to the 20,400 square meter premises. The premises are being built to co-locate the operational activities in Sweden to one and the same property. This is to provide first-class service to their customers while creating a modern workplace tailored to their own operations.
Flexible solution tailored to business needs
Sellpy was looking for a flexible solution that could be easily expanded as the company grew, while at the same time being adapted to the existing business and its unique needs. The solution provided by BLS was a picking shelf, designed entirely around Sellpy's own operations. In total, BLS has delivered 45,000 meters of beam to the project.
An efficient and less arduous picking process
The development of the picking shelf required close contact between Sellpy and BLS' own design department and project managers. To create a good working environment, the shelf is designed to maximize the content at as low a height as possible. This allows staff to access all levels without unnecessary strain, creating a more efficient and less tiring picking process.
Clear and fast communication
Fredrik Lindholm, Head of Infrastructure, says that BLS' strength during the project has been the clear and fast communication.
"Communication with BLS worked very well from an early stage. The challenges that came up along the way were solved and the communication was clear from the beginning. What worked very well was the short lead time between sales and construction as we developed new solutions. It never felt like the project stopped."
