E-Wheels and Kajakk & Fritid
E-Wheels Norway and Kajakk & Fritid are a Norwegian e-commerce success story that has grown into a European group with a presence in countries such as Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, to name a few. They have experienced remarkable growth through the sale of products such as electric scooters, e-bikes and SUP boards.
In a strategic location, they have come together under one roof covering 8,000 m
The need for warehouse space has been critical, with multiple rented locations previously required to store their goods. Now, everything has finally been consolidated under one roof in an 8,000 m² facility at Fiskumparken, situated between Hokksund and Kongsberg — a strategic location that still offers close proximity to the Port of Drammen, the origin point for much of their goods flow.
An efficient shelving system
BLS has designed a warehouse solution that provides E-Wheels and Kajakk & Fritid with nearly 5,000 pallet spaces in a conventional, functional racking system that offers easy access to all goods. One of the main challenges for E-Wheels and Kajakk & Fritid is that almost none of their products arrive on standard Euro pallets, but rather in large boxes containing bikes and electric scooters, which must be repacked and stored securely. To meet this requirement, we customised the spacing between the racks to allow for extra-long items to be stored from both sides.
A warehouse worth showcasing and taking pride in
In addition to a functional racking system, E-Wheels and Kajakk & Fritid wanted a warehouse they could showcase and take pride in. That’s why we supplied the racking system with a sleek black finish – enabling them to take pride not only in the functionality, but also in the aesthetics of their facility, making it a space they are happy to present to both customers and suppliers.

BLS’s installation team arrived on time as agreed and completed the entire installation even faster than the announced schedule — something neither the contractor nor the client believed was possible
